Osa Odighizuwa is in the NFL, he was a 6'2" 280 pound freshman. I bet he was bigger and stronger going into his Soph year with Chip. I'd take Osa over Toia, no disrespect to to Toia.
Chinozie Nnoruka was a JC transfer. 298 lbs. Here's his blurb re 2017 from the UCLA website "Saw action in all 13 games and made 10 starts ... Credited with 49 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks on the year ... Made his first start at Memphis and had four tackles, two for loss ... Ranked eighth on the team in tackles with 49 ... Tied for second on the team with 8.5 tackles for loss ... Made at least three tackles in 10 games ... Totaled a season-high eight tackles in the win over Arizona State ... Had five stops each in games vs. Oregon and at Utah."
Andrus was a good DT
Boss would have been as competent of a DT as the non-Toia guys we have.
Greg Rogers was a four star recruit who had 11 tackles as a freshman. Chip sent him packing.
So, I'll disagree with you regarding DT.
