I'm confident in my analytical skills.
For instance, a system that achieves mediocre results, like a 35-34 record, is not an effective system.
A system without accountability for the people responsible for its results is not an effective system.
Chip's systems, for all their scientific folderol were ipso facto ineffective.
Also, very many artists are experts in comparison and analysis. Read Shakespeare. Study Rodin. For less famous examples, listen to the music of Dar Williams and David Olney.
Finally, I learned enough about writing at UCLA to be confident my post was lucid and cogent.
