...But I’d choose Saturday, November 20, 1954 at the Coliseum. UCLA (#2) defeated USC (#7) 34-0 to complete an undefeated national championship season. More than 102,000 fans were on hand in what must have been a glorious spectacle (see link to photo of card section). Who knew at the time that Red Sanders would pass away less than four years later and UCLA would never reach such heights again. Ya, take me back to that game (34-0 is not boring if you’re on the right side, and we're not on the right side of huge games like that very often these days...).
