I've posted a bunch of times that I like "books and ball." But, if you live by the portal and don't recruit out of HS this was always going to be a problem. You're going to lose players by the ton every season as most of your players will come in with only a couple of years' eligibility. This is a Chip too lazy to recruit/develop HS players problem.

Now, back to your regularly scheduled delusional reality.
