OK, so now you are teasing apart your tenuous threads of argument here. The two situations are not identical, but comparatively, Foster has more talent to work with than Kelly had. The NFL argument is a canard, as many of those you cite either had a cup of coffee in the NFL or became NFL ready after years in the program.
You display an unwillingness to own Foster's upcoming results. Who knows? He could kill it. Either way, by your earlier Chip Hating logic you need to own Foster's results in order to be consistent in your approach.
I'm seeing a decent team this year (with Kelly's players) but a looming disaster in '25. Foster needs to be given more than this segment of time to be evaluated. It's too early to tell how he'll work out, but the first two years don't look great.
