The amount of money available to Chip at Ucla and Chip at tOSU is the explanatory variable. He's the same guy here and at tOSU, yet you see a different behavior. Why? The answer is he didn't have money to offer here, so he scaled back JV recruiting but he does have money to offer now, so he's more aggressive. Simple.
It's astonishing how deep the brainwashing against Chip is. Bruin fans want to demonize him and can't recognize the base reality of our program. It's absurd. We need better fans.
Foster seems to have more money now. This makes sense since the bankruptcy of Morgan Center is being resolved, and we're a whisker away from B10 payouts. We should see Foster be more aggressive in JV recruiting, not because of a personality difference from Chip, but because he has more money. Duh.
What is so difficult for people here to understand that this is how the world works?
We shouldn't fall for the hyperbole from Bolch and the Parasite. It distracts our attention from the key: NIL. If you truly care about the program, donate. I do because I do.
Our fanbase needs to get better, smarter and more willing to donate through thick and thin. This is my attempt to bring that about and it's why I spend time here banging my head against this frozen wall of stupidity at BZ.
Chip is a productivity guy, not a pom pom guy. This is why some Duck media types disliked him and why the Parasite disliked him. Totally irrelevant.
