Not sure what you're point is, but yes, all of those traits are desirable and I'm with you in preferring them to winning with thugs. But, that is a false choice. Ucla can win with character. It has before and it can again.
The difference between the earlier successful eras and today is the rot in Morgan Center and the Ucla administration. They aren't set up for commercial markets. As CFB increasingly becomes commercial, Ucla falls further behind.
I'm hoping one day management of the football team will be outsourced to people with talent.
