Good post. I wonder how many $$ are actually saved. I imagine the room rates are significantly more in the Bay Area and SLC than Athens and the Plains.
I understand ucla has a strong alum base in the BA, selfishly I want to go between the hedges. Kal is old news to me, the novelty of playing an Uber elite team in a place I don’t ever remember is playing is a big selling point to me.
Your point about the new 10 venues is probably right. I didn’t consider it. I’ve been to most of the ones I’d ever want to go, but I’m probably an outlier.
