he'd receive $6 million, and then another $4 million if he was fired. Instead, he took the "security" of a demotion and $2 million a year for 2 years, NOT guaranteed, and NO BUYOUT.
In the "real world", I work with multi-million contracts and budgets. And I know the difference between someone quitting because they can't hack it, and taking a promotion for more money.
Chip couldn't hack it in Philadelphia. He couldn't hack it in San Francisco. He knew he couldn't hack it at Florida because they actually wanted him to recruit. After he gets fired at tOSU, maybe he'll get a QB coaching gig at a JC somewhere, but he knows it's over.
He knows he's a fraud. You could learn something from him.
