What game?
Looks to me like UCLA is playing the role of scout team in preparing Indiana to get ready for the start of Big 10 Conference play.
Hard to imagine seeing UCLA shoehorned into the same sentence as: ~Bowl~.
The UCLA body language on both sides of the ball looks like a drop-down menu.
UCLA's back-seven looks like a turnstile open 24/7 on pass-"D".
But, on the plus side, we can cling to the repetition that UCLA is a 2H team able to make quick adjustments.........or not....
Plus, we've been schooled that UCLA is not going to miss their #10 rated D coordinator (out of 130 Div 1 teams), so I'm juiced about the future.
231 Total O yards for Indiana vs only 120 for UCLA, wherein their Rourke is putting on a clinic against our handicapped parking D. Our linebackers and safeties on pass D are playing dizzy with the result that huge gaps have opened up on comparatively short passes right over the middle.
And, of course, the "assisted" fumble by Harden along with the missed FG didn't help the implosion.
Hopefully, UCLA can press Indiana on the opening kick and present a challenge to Indiana's D..........equally importantly, give the UCLA D somewhat of a blow as they spent 17 mins of the 1H on the field.
Ok, who am I kidding.
UCLA gets the 2H kickoff.
GO BRUINS!
