I'm biased because being local, but a few things in the game of interest. One, Boise St's RB seems to be the front runner for the Heisman. If Boise St wins (who only lost by 3 at Oregon), think they are 61% chance to make the playoffs.
Now my biased part because this is really huge for Vegas. Defense gives up too many yards and points last 3 games. However, this QB is much dumber to watch than Sluka was. White III is a stud receiver and 3 blocked punts this year.
If you don't know, Barry Odom was mentioned as a possible coach after Kelly. I'm a huge fan of his and he has UNLV around 31% chance at CFP if they win. UNLV football has been really nothing of a program except a year here and there. Now they have to compete with the Raiders and Golden Knights. UNLV only sells 100 section tickets for home games. The just sold level 200 section and started releasing section 300. Just huge for the program and as a college football fan, just fun to see a program like this do this. Best part is tickets are very affordable. We all know how rare that is anymore.
I think Barry Odom may get an SEC offer after this year, but hoping he stays at least one more year. And quite honestly, when you see UNLV progressing in a city with professional teams like they have, I would be beyond excited if UCLA was able to get him someday. Still hoping for the best for CDF, but if it doesn't work, I think you have to factor someone in that creates buzz in LA. Too many options for people.
