Way too latch onto a stat that without context is both deceptive and meaningless.
Most important stat is that they gave up only 20 points (I suppose you have forgotten that we surrendered 32, a 2TD difference). Moreover, when you have a 3TD lead as SUC did in the game, you can afford to play bend but don't break defense for much of the game, which is exactly what they did, as they allowed several long drives that resulted in ZERO points, and you know points ae kind of important. In fact a recent peer reviewed study concluded that most people strongly agree that point differential is the single most decisive factor in determining who wins and loses a game. But yeah, those 12 yards vs 12 points are super important for demonstrating just how seriously you need to be taken. Congrats on this stunning victory doc
