Over 6 years with Kelly, we peaked with a team that went 9-4, inclusive of victories over Bowling Green, Alabama State, and a last minute squeaker over ..... South Alabama. And, a loss to Pitt in the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl. That's the peak.
Prior to that:
2016 8 losses
2018 7 losses
2019 9 losses
2020 3-4
2021 4 losses
What I'm on is the same thing that everyone else in the football world is on. Everyone currently considers UCLA to be a doormat. ESPN gives us a 25% chance to beat a 4-5 sc team. 25%. The Nebbie and Rutgers media talk about us like a doormat. I'm saying that perception has been earned, largely during the Chip years.
If you want to be like UCLA78, and say that a writer can go F himself for calling UCLA a very bad team, I mean, you go tilt at that windmill. Right now, it's deserved.
I'm hoping against hope that we beat Iowa. That will start to change perceptions.
