The difference was ~51/49. Do you think that’s material? There is no material difference. The “real” advantage is if you can put a score up at the end of the 1st and then get the ball and add more points with the initial possession of the second. That was the genesis of the defer to the second half rationale. If you can pull the double, there was an incremental advantage but certainly not outcome determinative.
