1973. UCLA entered on a nine game winning streak

after getting blown out at Nebraska in their opener. Mark Harmon, Kermit Johnson, James McAlister, put up some unbelievable (for the time) offensive members. But, SC forced six (!) turnovers and won the game 23-13. They went to the Rose Bowl, we went home.
