I wonder if the payouts in some of these deals will be based on milestones, like making the starting lineup and playing in "X" number of games, being named an all conference player, or even an All American, if a kid stays in school that long.
Probably nothing will relate to academic performance as long as a player stays eligible. And what with on-line and extension courses readily available that shouldn't be a problem.
The haves will have more and the have nots will have less. And year over year I'm caring less.
