Bama - lost to 6-6 Vandy and 6-6 Oklahoma (blown out by OU).
SMU - Lost to 10-2, #17 BYU.
That has to matter, otherwise why play the games? Just give the SEC their four spots at the beginning of the year and not worry about it.
