Honest question, because I don't know the answer. Is there data on how many students actually attend each home game?

Aside: I graduated in '00; glory years from my perspective. I would estimate maybe 3-4,000 students attended on average then, but I could be way off. Besides 'SC, the only time I remember the student section being full to the brim was against UW in '97, late in the season when both teams were ranked high, and maybe in '98 when Cade puked (literally) and we beat Oregon on a ESPN GameDay game day (but that was a brutally early and hot day and less students were there --- it wasn't full). But then again, I missed big home games against Texas and Tennessee because (you guessed it per this thread) school hadn't started, and I was far away.

Aside(r): I went to my first game at the Rose Bowl in about 10+ years a couple weekends ago (Thanksgiving weekend) vs. Fresno State. From my vantage in section 21, I could not perceive anything in the stadium that looked like a student section. Weekend after Thanksgiving against a respectable but not big name non-conference opponent after being bounced from bowl consideration likely had something to do with that.

But again, I'm just wondering if there's any available data on student attendance at the Rose Bowl.
