I don't know if it was the cold, the size of the game, or ND's defense, or all three, but he definitely was not at his best when his best was needed.
Indiana also looked like an FCS school for the first time this season. Three of the Irish's last 5 recruiting classes were ranked in the top-10 and the other two were in the top-20.
The 98-yard TD run is a perfect example of the talent discrepancy. Indiana didn't have anyone who could stop that run.
Of course, if Rourke doesn't throw that awful interception, that TD run never happens, and Indiana likely scores first. But I don't think it would have made a difference.
