But, it looks like offensive recruiting is sufficient for us to be ready for next season.
Now, (and especially now that we have a DL coach) we need some DL. I saw a post on BG that said that Keanu Williams and Gary Smith III will return if healthy. That would be great. If we could add, a very good DT, we may be ok there.
This is beyond speculative, but I'd like to see us try Isaiah Patterson as an edge rusher. We could use some LB/Edge types, and DT's, maybe just one depending on Williams' and Smith's status.
In short, Foz and Friends have done better restocking us in the portal than I thought they would.
Aside: we should have made a play for former Mississippi State QB Michael Van Buren. I thought maybe he'd be a little under the radar since State had such a terrible year. But, that guy is going to light.it.up. somewhere. And, that somewhere is LSU.
