If those games had been played and presenting it as some sort of factual certainty is a dubious game of speculative intellectual masturbation. I never liked Chip, thought he was a bad hire from day one and his tenure played out as expected, but to spin a bunch of numbers around and declare the stinking turd that was this past football season a success is asinine "Hey look, we really weren't that bad after all!" Football like all other sports is a game that is played on the field/court, not on spreadsheets. Analytics may help to predict some outcomes, but they cannot alter reality.
