And revenue sharing can be considered a form of NIL if you look at it as the players essentially selling their media rights to companies like ESPN, Fox, etc. If you look at it this way, they are not employees engaging in labor but rather athletes cashing in on the eyeballs they bring to TV sets, just as if their NIL was used in an EA Sports video game (the O'Bannon case).

Where does the revenue being shared come from? TV rights, licensed apparel, and ticket sales, all of which require the display of name, image, and likeness.
