For example, your comments on the DL. First, Brian Price never played with those other guys.
And let's compare the talent on your best DL ever to the 2014 team. That team had Eddie Vanderdoes (several years in the NFL), Jacob Tuioti Mariner (several years in the NFL), Owa O. (several years in the NFL), Kenny Clark (still in the NFL), Eli Ankou (still in the NFL), Matt Dickerson (still in the NFL).
If you use the 2015 team, you lose Owa O. from above but keep everyone else, and add Takk McKinley, who is also still bouncing around the NFL.
I think your point that UCLA recruited well but did not develop well has it backwards, if anything, and especially when it comes to your best DL ever. Dewayne Walker came in and got quite a bit out of them and also some others you like who were not highly recruited: Bosworth x 2, Taylor, Trey Brown, and Chris Horton. Taylor was a transfer from Air Force; I'm not sure how much recruiting really went into getting him to come to UCLA.
Your DL had Bruce Davis (the younger), who played in the NFL for several years. Kevin Brown had really no NFL career at all. Justin Hickman, who I think you forgot, was very good in college but had no NFL career. Harwell had no NFL career at all. Looks like more of a good coaching/development job than recruiting job.
