yes, his recruiting fell off after it was clear he couldn't coach. But, He started off recruiting awesomely his first few years. Couldn't bring in OL, and Ben Olson turned into a big whiff. Otherwise, incredible DL recruiting (Price, Brown, Harwell, Hickman, Davis), Great RB recruiting (Drew, with Bell and Markey (9th all-time yards) as good enough compliments, good receiver recruiting (Austin with the 2nd and 4th best alltime all purpose yards seasons), brought in a TE that bounced around the NFL for 10 years (Logan Paulson). Outstanding linebacker recruiting (Carter all-conf, Ayers all-conf, 2nd team AA, Christian Taylor, the Bozi). Very good DB recruiting (Verner all-conference, 9 years in the NFL) Chris Horton all-conference several years in NFL.

I never said Dorrell was a great recruiter. I said "recruiting was not his problem."

If, in the next 5 years Foz can bring in the best running back we've ever had, a DL's the equivalent of Price,Brown,Hickman,Harwell,Davis, 2 all-conf LB's(one w/ a good NFL career), 2 NFL DB's, both all-conf, the top QB recruit in the country (hopefully he turns out better than B.Olson), good receivers, a 10 year pro TE, he'd be doing pretty well. He'll need to have better OL recruiting than KD did.

And, if he can do better than KD did .... the ceiling should be extremely high.

Again, all I said was "recruiting was not KD's problem"
