What is the challenge here? Yes, if Foster recruits to the level of KD, I'll be quite happy. The 2025 class is ranked 56th. You don't think KD-level would be a vast improvement on that?
KD did bring in a ton of talent early. He started off awesomely. I posted the roster from 2006, I'm not going to dig it up to re-post it.
A lot of his recruits were "damn good" and "Great." Before you take us down this rabbit hole, define "a lot," so we can count 'em up.
I did list a page of OL recruits, the worst position group KD recruited. All of whom were at least 3 star, a couple of whom were 4 star highly sought guys. That's his worst position group.
You accused me of playing the victim. Pointing out that you bring up a player I never mentioned (Sonny), to disparage a player I did mention (Shannon) and try to paint him with the same brush is not "playing the victim," it's pointing out a childish chatboard debate tactic.
I'm not a victim here, actually, having gone down this rabbit hole, I've concluded Dorrell was an even better recruiter early on than I'd thought. Ya, overall, he recruited "pretty well" at least.
You keep saying that I'm misinformed by fond memories, or something like that. I'll I've posted is recruiting rankings, performance stats, and NFL tenure's. Just facts.
I think it's your memory that may have distorted your perception.
