that they wait until he and his family speak on who all this transpired before making an official judgement. I see a lot of attacks on this young man and his family, based off of other people categorizing exactly what happened with Tennessee that led to all this.
It's really easy for people to make judgements about these athletes and their families, but lets at least get their side of the story before passing judgement.
Especially since .....considering all this is true about him coming to Westwood.... there are some facts that already contradict the narrative...
1. If he's taking less money....a LOT less money than you can't say this was all strictly about the money.
2. Obviously whatever happened between his brother and UCLA didn't sour either UCLA or the family on looking at Nico coming to UCLA. So the narrative about the family being unreasonable and problematic isn't likely at all.
If he's coming...this is a huge win for UCLA.... just the fact that we pulled a chair up to the BIG table, and made a play for a prime time guy shows that we are in this to compete with the big boys.
Now let's take it to the field.
