If someone asked you in January 1999 what a football Apocalypse looked like, you would probably think of something like the present. No conference title or major bowls in 27 years. A revolving door of failed head coaches. Financial problems. A head coach with no experience, even as a coordinator. A depleted and demoralized fanbase.
