UCLA is holding the cards. He gets to play near home in the B1G, but at a big discount. Take it or leave it. The coaches already know the family very well from their recruitment of his brother. They should have all the info they need to go into this with their eyes open or decide it's not worth it.
It would be a disaster to start losing our current QB's to the portal.
