Like I wrote in a previous thread, the rapid roster turnover makes how you feel about the hc even more important. Used to be, a fan could be "meh" on the coach, but love the kids, and the kids would stick around 3 or 4 years, and a good time was had by all.
But now... well, if Nico has a good year, he's probably going somewhere else next year, like Dillon Gabriel left OU for OR. Ucla has lost 30+ guys to the portal in less than six months. We're looking like Coloado.
So how does one feel about Foster? That will determine the level of fan base engagement.
I was surprised at how small the Friday night lights turnout was. I'm going to the spring showcase Saturday. I'm thinking it's going to be less than the 25k it was Last year.
