I'm not necessarily saying it's wrong; just wondering why you think it. The season looks much more promising than it did a month ago but that's mostly because of some good fortune.
I think Chip still understood how CFB works; he just wasn't comfortable doing what was needed from the HC position. Who here would not want Chip back as OC?
Right now DF is riding the Nico/Madden arrivals and the usual off-season optimism.
