Lame duck Block gave him an extension. His contract runs thru 2029: $1.55 million in Year 1, $1.6 million in Year 2, $1.8 million in Year 3, $2 million in Year 4 and $2.1 million in Year 5. Expensive to buy out now, but that's the cost of good business. A competent ad could make that up with good management.
