Depends on what one likes of course but our travel agent and since then valued friend Laurel Lauderback (was Samuela) who lived on Moorea introduced us to the island some years ago. Beautiful, wonderful lagoon, easy access from Papeete (do take the fast ferry over!). It's our favorite of the Society Islands, for sure. (Also, if you like getting away a bit, Vahini Island off Tahaa - with only 9 accommodations including three outstanding and huge beach suite bungalows, each with a private little beach area - and the best Tahitian Vanilla yogurt you've ever had each morning for breakfast - and you can see Bora Bora across the way - quite near.)
