Do you understand statistics or that nobody gives an F about your inane "look how smart I think I am" posts.
Abd wait, didn't you just say that you "just posted a stat with no conclusions implied." ?
And then immediately followed that up with "Certainly nobody is saying it means we have a better defense than USC, only that we played better defense than them against MSU." Which sure sounds a hell of a lot like a conclusion.
And "Sample size here is irrelevant since we aren't doing any statistical analysis." Yet, correctly if I am mistaken, but did you not post statistics from both team's respective games against MSU with the obvious objective that the stats from those games would be compared side by side to infer that our defense played better than theirs?
And do you understand stats? Like that MSU rushed for the exact same yards per carry against both UCLA and USC? Or that the difference in passing stats can be at least partly attributable to a backup playing half the game at QB for MSU against us. Or how about that SUC held UM (a team that came in averaging nearly 7 yards a carry to only 109 yards on 31 carries for the same exact 3.5 ypc average. Now does this mean that SUC's defense is better than ours in any definitive way? Of course not, and that's the point.
