a head coaching job has to be fan hyperbole. It would be irresponsible to give a head coaching job to an assistant that's only been a coordinator for two games, no matter how talented. That would be as bad a decision as hiring a head coach with NO HEAD COACHING EXPERIENCE.
Just my humble opinion. I suspect Jerry will be a good coordinator and with experience there, he could be head coaching material shortly.
