IF we can run the ball, we have a chance.

big if, but if Jerry has some wrinkles and is able to run the ball and control the clock while converting on 3rd downs, we may have a chance. We did run the ball much better than Oregon did against Penn St, and it did seem like we didn't have much in the way of offensive wrinkles vs. Maryland, playing pretty vanilla until we needed to score on the last 2 drives, so I do think we were saving some stuff for Indiana.

So yeah, run the ball and convert 3rd downs/red zone opportunities - not easy, but we may present some problems for them. We did beat Michigan St by the same score, but we did it as a multiple time zone road trip (starting at 9am pst too), instead of a home game, and we did much better than Oregon at exposing Penn St.

The defense will also need to keep stepping up its game, but it's the offense which seems to have the most ability to control this game and keep us in it.

So yeah, we have a chance. Not much of one, because Indiana has been great all year, whereas we are still trying to build that consistency, but yeah, we are building.
