we won't be getting top talent, at least not across the board.
How do we get more money? Hire a coach who builds excitement and confidence among donors. For now, yes, he will probably have to do more with less. And he will help himself out a lot if he can bring 10-15 players with him.
It will take a combo of a hard-charging coach with a dynamic personality and some early success on the field.
I don't think it's impossible. What Mora did in 2012 would be good enough to wake people up today, and even Foster had a borderline top 25 class lined up after going 5-7.
UCLA primarily needs a program builder instead of a fast-talking recruiter.
