My thought on Napier is that Florida is a tough gig. They don't invest nearly as much in their program as the top dogs in the SEC, but they expect to be in the conf. championship game.
Looking at his record there, the blemishes are splitting with Utah (Utah was ranked 7 when UF beat them, have no idea how they finished the season), lost twice to Arkansas, Kentucky when they were ranked 20th, that's bad. But, along the way they beat A&M, a SoCaro team that ended the year ranked 23rd, Tennessee ranked 11th, LSU 22nd, Mississippi 9th, Texas 9th.
For JMU to get a guy like that, to me seems like a good get.
