Those are the numbers that matter to me. Chesney has coached at four different programs at different levels and was able to improve each of the four to those kinds of records.
What he did at James Madison is made even more impressive by the fact that Cignetti pretty much left the cupboard bare at JMU when he left for Indiana.
Chesney knows how to coach…something most of his predecessors at UCLA did not know how to do.
There is definitely reason for optimism now for UCLA football.
