A stupid pill?
1. I think the NIL hierarchy is pretty well established, but leave it to you to point out the inane and then act as if you have discovered a cure for cancer and should be showered with Brownie points. Furthermore, Chesney has stated that he was assured that he will be working with an NIL budget that will place UCLA in the top third to top quarter of the BIG TEN, which he further stated was sufficient to accomplish his goals. This also quite obviously represents a huge increase from where we were.
2. Ummm yeah, dufus, perhaps if you'd taken ten seconds to do a quick Google search before again choosing to profess your idiocy, you may have discovered just how wrong this statement is.
At quick glance:
Coached under Chesney at Assumption - Deonte Hardy, Scott Simonson and Zach Triner
Coached under Chesney at Holy Cross - Jalen Coker, CJ Hansen, Benton Whitley, Luke Newman, Liam Anderson and Ayir Asante.
And there are currently at least a few players on JMU's roster that are expected to get drafted this year, in addition to several other underclassmen he has developed that will get looks in future drafts.
3. Umm, well, the fact that the rosters at all of those programs consist of players who were formerly high school players, strongly suggests that many high school football players have in fact aware of the existence of smaller programs.
4. Again, see number 1, do you want another brownie badge for stating the obvious Mister Inane? This has already been discussed ad nauseum on the board and yet you point it out as though you just invented the concept. And again, aside from Jarmond still having a job, in addition to a new coach who appears to know what the hell he is doing, there also appears to be movement towards addressing some of the structural and institutional issues that have long plagued the program. Beyond that, it cannot be understated just how bad the coaching was this year. If you had put Fosters staff at Indiana, with everything else being equal, they would have lost half their games.
5. I believe that many recruits will be quite interested in hearing that UCLA has greatly increased its financial commitment to football and that this commitment is supported from the top down by the administration. I further believe that recruits will be very interested in hearing about all the NFL prospects that Chesney had a hand in developing at those "small schools," because if he can do it there, there's a pretty good chance that he'll be able to replicate it at program with a much higher profile and significantly more resources. And also See #1 and #3 Captain Obvious, Mister Inane.
And your comment other people being too sensitive is rich after all your whining about being a victim. The reason people react to your posts the way they do is because many are objectively inane and stupid, while also dripping with smugness. You are an abrasive twit that many hear clearly find off putting, but completely lack the self-awareness to understand why.
And now for your quiz:
1. Do you deny that you thought you were being super clever with your initial post in this thread
2. Do you deny points 1,4,and 5 were completely inane statements that offered absolutely nothing beyond you attempting (and failing) to stroke your ego?
3. Do you deny that you were completely mistaken in your assertion that Chesney has no track record for developing NFL talent.
4. Do you deny that small programs all field teams that are comprised of former high school players?
5. Do you deny that you have virtually no connection to current high school recruits and therefore are a likely a very poor judge about just what it is that might draw them to a given school? I mean how do you account for the fact that the one of the most inept head coaches in the history of college football, while working with a pretty minuscule NIL budget, managed to attract a class hovering around the top 25?
6. Do you deny that you generally believe yourself to be quite brilliant?
7. Do you deny that you are a smug c#unt?
