I’m in agreement with you.

Personally, I don’t think Dorrell was as bad of a HC as many claimed, but he wasn’t any where near the level anyone hoped for. Crazy thing was Dorrell was the 8th highest paid HC in the P10 and had the UCLA admission requirements that were tougher than Cal’s for some reason, but he always beat Tedford at home, never lost to Riley, beat Carroll once(should have been twice), beat Stoops at home, beat Whittingham at home, amongst some others.

I really thought Mora would be a great fit for UCLA and for a while, things looked pretty good and then he just kinda checked out. Even then, I don’t remember Mora really having any real signature wins. Even home games were off and on. I remember the Oregon game could have been big, but turned to nothing.

I just have a thing about win at home first and foremost. Eventually get the road wins when teams are gelling. The LSU game was fun. but it just feels like forever since a UCLA game felt like a legitimate home advantage. At least I feel some optimism again moving forward. 2 months ago I had zero faith so going to be interesting.
