For one, your assignment of equal values to each is nonsensical.
And your belief that these are the only options is nonsensical
And even putting all that aside, heaven and hell are two options connected to one idea, so even in your own mode of (un)thinking, the odds there would be 50% you go to Heaven or Hell, and 50% you go Poof. And who is to say that within the 50% on the side of mythology even close to half of them are going to heaven? Given that your god has proven himself to be a spiteful, vengeful and full of wrath, I'm guessing that way less than half get in. Maybe a third, a quarter, possibly as few as 7.235 percent, which may make hoping for a POOF much more attractive. I mean, even if you are right about heaven and hell, what if you aren't right about getting in?
