Your view is what is determined by man. There are Jews who believe in Christ and people of Islam that also believe in Christ as the Savior.
The Bible says that no man can come to God but through His Son Jesus Christ. God doesn't need anything from us. We can't ever be good enough or do more works than anybody else or be nicer, etc. Those things are good but will not help you obtain eternal life in Heaven. Only belief in Jesus Christ is the answer. It's not convenience, it's what it says in the Bible which to Christians is the unfallable word of God.
