It appears as if we have really shored up areas of weakness, but as the article states, it really depends upon how well we scouted these players (I expect the JMU guys to have been scouted thoroughly by the staff!), and then what the staff can get out of them.
I do fear a bit of the 'Moneyball' approach we tried last year, but it's also kind of where we're at as a program right now - it's going to be exceedingly rare for us to get elite guys (especially on the lines) who will get better offers from the top schools (heck we saw that in recruiting too, as our highest rated commits would constantly get picked off from higher level schools).
So much depends on the staff, especially the ability to develop and identify the players who will have the most success (we've struggled with that too - one can make the argument that Schwesinger probably should have been starting long before his final season, as an example, even with Muasau, given what we know now).
