The budget deficits look like they probably called into question if Jarmond can handle the job long term. NIL is a tough call because still new territory. I thought the Chesney hire probably saved Jarmond for at least a few years. I wonder if the press over the Rose Bowl-SoFi saga was an impact. Personally, I didn't think this was a good look for UCLA. Not sure who really pushed for that or if it was a factor. Definitely odd timing with the season starting soon. I'd assume it's been brewing for a bit then.
