As Kirkland's below post mentioned, UCLA received donations to the Athletic Dept. of $13.5MM in FY 2025, down from $18.5MM in 2022. As a comparison, Cal had $20.5MM in 2025 A.D. donations, up from $15.9MM in 2022. Donations to UCLA's A.D. have gone down over the past 4 years, Cal's donations have gone up.

Here's where the donation difference is really striking: UCLA's A.D. received $41MM in private philanthropic support (gifts and pledges) during fiscal year 2025-26. That amount represents an 80.6% increase in fundraising for UCLA over the past two years. Cal's A.D. received $88.5MM in gifts and pledges for fiscal year 2025-26. In FY 2024-25, Cal's A.D. received $82MM in cash and pledges.

Again, why are we giving Cal $10MM/yr for the next 3 years? I can't find my notes on that... :)
