Some NFL pundits think he'll be taken #1 overall in next year's draft over Jeremiah Smith, the tOSU WR. But to me, Arch Manning is not an NFL QB yet. In the few games I've seen, he makes a fair amount of mistakes, misreads, and generally my impression is he's not a gamer (How much of his success is due to the talent differential on his team vs the opponents).
Now, I've only seen a few Texas games, big games, but Manning wasn't anymore impressive (as a high level NFL QB prospect), than say Tim Couch, Jeff George or Ryan Leaf. Those guys didn't pan out. Maybe Manning will turnout to be the next Jaxson Dart or Drake Maye...or maybe he'll turnout to be JJ MCCarthy or Michael Penix.
Right now, the only thing I can say with certainty about Arch Manning is that he throws a nice, tight spiral.
