I posted last week that he should be told he does not scramble unless it's 3rd down in a close game.
And, like you said, he often holds the ball until he's about to get hit. That tacks on another big hit for a very low percentage play that is about as likely to end in an interception as completion.
He's playing hero ball. He needs to be told to stop.
