I'm not trying to diminish what Knight has done. Just saying that Sanders' 1988 season was at another level. 37 rushing TD's in 11 games. Two special teams TD's. Five more TD's in their bowl game. More than 2600 yards in 11 games.
And that was Sanders' only season as the main RB at Oklahoma St., as Thurman Thomas was the man there the two years before.
