Proven to be far superior to the values of all of our competitors. None of our guys have ever done anything stupid or even remotely questionable, just as none of us here on this board have either. And because we are so infallible, pious and superior to everyone else, we get to sit back and determine that a single incident is reflective of an individual's entire character? Maybe these kids are jerks, or maybe they just got caught up in the moment when emotions were running high and made a questionable decision as kids often do. Pontificating about how this somehow reflective of some larger cause is its own form of blasphemy. They did something they probably shouldn't have and I'm sure there will be internal consequences. If you imagine that UCLA would kick these kids off the team if they played for us and did this, you are delusional. They would be forced to make a mea culpa public statement, run some extra conditioning drills and perhaps be suspended for the first half of a game. And the coaches would publicly state that they are good kids that made a bad decision that they would learn from going forward, END OF STORY. And I'm sure that given the "severity" of their actions and the "leniency" shown, you would then let us all know that you'd been forced to abandon your support for all things UCLA due to poor character of all those involved or perhaps decide that justice had been served and move on, pearls still firmly clutched in your hand.
