Yeah, much to the consensus surprise, UCLA left some critical points on the field, despite doing themselves proud with a 4-pt halftime lead.
Sure, a Turnover City 1H, with 3 each. However, UCLA was in a position to pluck the Quackers' feathers by by smothering the field with 241 total yards to an astounding only 58 for the Autzen-ettes. Huge kudos to the D at all 3 tiers of D. I was especially pleased to see Scooter getting back to form at the key position of CR.
But, let's not kid ourselves, as Raiola is no Dante, in Dylan's best impression to give UCLA a reach-around. It's a blessing and a curse becuz Lanning is the master of halftime adjustments. That said, our D has been fabulous in rearing its head and winning the battle of the trenches.
Sure, Nico has held us back with the primary problem his lack of touch on his passes. Altho easily out-performing Raiola, the problem as been his pace.............BOTH too rockety AND too fluttery.
Don't know if the D can continue to strangle the Lannings, but who the hell holds The Quackers to 6 points IN Autzen?
Duckes get 2H kick.
GO BRUINS!
